  • Capt. Bill Fleet – Located at Capt. Dick's in Murrells Inlet. Enjoy Continental Shelf, 1/2 day, all day and overnight deep sea fishing for Snapper, Grouper, Sea Bass, Triggerfish and others. Piers

  • Apache Family Campground and Pier – Lake Arrowhead and Kings Road, Myrtle Beach. $8.50
    fishing and $1 spectator fee. Passes available. Longest pier on the East Coast – ¼ mile long,
    2,400 sq. ft. entertainment pagoda, 110 ft. end “T,” bait and tackle, arcade, gift shop, restaurant and center entertainment pavilion with beverage kiosk. Hours 6 a.m.– midnight; winter hours, (October – March) 7 a.m.– 6 p.m. Call (843) 497–6486.

  • Cherry Grove Pier – 3500 N. Ocean Blvd., North Myrtle Beach. South Carolina’s first two–story
    observation deck. Admission – $6 per rod, daily, $1 spectators fee; seasonal rates available. 985 ft. long, lighted for night fishing. Full line of pier tackle, bait, and gift shop.   • Myrtle Beach State Park Pier – 4401 South Kings Hwy. One mile of undeveloped beach, campground, rental cabins, nature center, natural history education programs, forest trail, rental picnic shelters and picnic facilities, playgrounds, gift and tackle shop. Debbie Hinshaw and Robert Lenehan, weigh masters. Daily park admission $4 ages 16 & up; $1.50 ages 6–15; free for ages 5 & under; $2.50 for SC senior citizens 65 & over and SC 100% disabled citizens. Daily fishing pass $4.50; season fishing pass $80; SC senior citizen 65 and over SC 100% disabled citizens $52. Park hours 6 a.m.–10 p.m. March – November;

  • The Pier at Garden City – 110 Waccamaw Dr. S., Garden City Beach. David Patrick, manager. Open March through December. Open 24 hours a day May through November. Annual and weekly passes available. Bait and rental rods available in tackle shop. Arcade and oceanfront deck at the Pier Café. Call (843) 651–9700 for information. No spectator fee.

  • Second Avenue Pier – 110 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach. Trent Collins, manager. Open 7 a.m.–11 p.m. Full line of bait, tackle, rod, reels, gift shop, arcade, restaurant and ice cream shop. 905 ft. lighted pier with a "T" on the end.   • Springmaid Beach Pier – 3200 South Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach. George Gibble, manager. 1060 ft. long, 36 ft. wide. Complete bait and tackle shop, gift shop, Pier Café. Admission $8.50 to fish, spectators $1. Weekly and seasonal passes available. Rod rentals are available. Open year–round for fishing from 6 a.m.–midnight. Call (843) 315–7156.
