This list is provided as a resource only. Shelters listed below may not be opened, or may change during the approach of a storm. Tune to radio and television stations for current information. Visit the Horry County Hurricane Information Center for directions to the shelters. Waccamaw Regional Transportation Authority, known as The Coast RTA, will provide rides to the area’s shelters. Visit The Coast RTA for evacuation pickup points.
